Arema Cronus mendapat kesempatan menjajal klub asal Bundesliga Jerman Hamburg SV di stadion Kanjuruhan, Malang, Senin (6/1).

Hamburg yang saat ini sedang terjerat di posisi ke-14 klasemen sementara Bundesliga, harus dihadapkan dengan faktor kelelahan akibat baru tiba di Indonesia pada Minggu (5/1) siang, dan akan langsung bertolak ke Abu Dabi usai laga persahabatan malam ini.

Sedangkan Arema sebagai tuan rumah sedang dalam tren yang positif, mereka mampu melumat seluruh kompetisi pra musim yakni Piala Menpora, East Java Cup dan terakhir Trofeo Persija.

Babak Pertama
Belum sampai semenit laga berjalan, Peter Jiracek dari Hamburg langsung ancam gawang Kurnia Meiga. Beruntung tembakan spekulasi Jiracek mampu dihadang Meiga, dan hanya hasilkan tendangan penjuru yang tak maksimal dilakukan Hamburg.

Usai turun minum, sesuai dugaan Hamburg melakukan pergantian pemain besar-besaran, pemain pengganti yang rata-rata diturunkan meruapakan pemain muda yang mereka miliki.
